Pope St. John XXIII STEM Academy follows Tacoma Public School District for all weather related delays or closures. Families will receive an automated phone call and an email from PSJSTEM advising weather status after we receive confirmation. We will also update the school’s Instagram and Facebook pages with any school closures or delays.

If we have a late start, we will open the doors at 10:00 AM with classes beginning at 10:15 AM. Please be aware that there is no morning extended care on late start mornings. Lunch will be served but it may not be what was stated on the monthly menu.

We ask all parents to remain with their children until school doors are unlocked. This signals that enough teachers are present to supervise students adequately. As always, if you do not feel comfortable driving, please keep yourselves home and safe.
