Beginning the 2023-24 school year, Pope St. John XXIII STEM Academy is excited to join Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) as part of Chinook Middle School League. Done in partnership with other schools in our area, this is an exciting move to continue athletics at PSJXXIII. Please see details, grade levels, and contact information below.
- Fall, Kindergarten through 5th Grade: Registration is open for Cross Country! Practices will be 2-3 times a week, beginning the first week of September. - Fall, Grades 6-8: As part of the Chinook League, students will have the opportunity to participate in Cross Country! With 2-3 practices a week beginning in September, students will prepare for multiple competitive races throughout the season. The cost is $55/student. Please note that athletes must have an updated sports physical on file to participate in WIAA sports.
We are looking for coaches for Cross Country and Middle School Girl’s Volleyball! An exciting way to be involved in the school community, these positions fulfill all parent volunteer hours for the year!
