What information do we collect?
The Archdiocese of Seattle collects personal information on a voluntary basis for a variety of activities through the form function of our website. Information such as name and contact details will be collected when you register for an event. We will also collect volunteered survey data. In all cases, information is used for a specific purpose and is not stored in a master database.
In addition to basic contact information, we may also collect payment information required for online donations or registration fees. Payment information is not stored on our servers and all payments are processed directly through a secured vendor on secured servers.
Google Analytics is used to monitor visitor traffic on our site. We measure the engagement on individual pages of our website and use aggregated de-identified data for insight into how visitors discover and use our site. This gives us the opportunity to create a much stronger user experience.
